Venetian

A beautiful building, the most fine example of Venetian Gothic architecture in Piran. It was built in the middle of the 15th century and is thus the oldest preserved house on Tartini Square (6 min. walk from Azzurro apartment).

Shells’ Museum

The largest collection of shells and snails in the Slovenian sea and land. In addition, the museum displays over three thousand shells and snails from all seas and continents of the world and from many caves, lakes and rivers. Worth seeing! (5 min. walk from Azzurro apartment).

City Walls

The Piran city walls were built as early as the 7th century to defend the city from attacks by external enemies. The city walls also offer a beautiful view of the entire city (7 min. walk from Azzurro apartment).

Museum of Underwater Activities

An ideal place for lovers of diving and maritime history. The museum will take you to a beautiful underwater world, full of secrets and sunken treasures. Municipal Palace

It was built in 1879 on the site of an older municipal house from the 13th century, in the Neo-Renaissance style. Today it is the seat of the municipality of Piran (6 min. walk from Azzurro apartment).

Tartini's monument

To pay homage to the great artist, violinist and composer, Giuseppe Tartini, the people of Piran erected a monument to him in 1896, adorning Tartini Square (6 min. walk from Azzurro apartment).

Tartini house

Composer and violinist Guiseppe Tartini was born in it. Today it is intended for cultural events, exhibitions and various art workshops. On the first floor there is a Tartini Memorial Room with objects left by the artist to the Tartini family (6 min. walk from Azzurro apartment).

Tartini Square

Tartini square is the largest square and the center of Piran. The square has an elliptical shape, as it served as a turning point for the tram that connected Piran with Portorož and Lucija from 1912 to 1953 (6 min. walk from Azzurro apartment).

Aquarium

You will be greeted by about 140 different species of organisms, among which the most numerous fish. Church of St. George
